Day 1. Auckland, Bay of Islands
Travel north to the Matakohe Kauri Museum and to the Bay of Islands. Visit the Waitangi Reserve, the Treaty House and the Maori Meeting House.
Day 2. Bay of Islands, Freedom of Choice Touring
Today choose from a range of activities and we'll include it. Perhaps visit Cape Reinga or play a round of golf at Waitangi.
Day 3. Bay of Islands, Auckland
This morning after breakfast, join a cruise to Cape Brett and the famous Hole in the Rock. Return this afternoon to Auckland.
Day 4. Auckland, Rotorua, Maori Hangi Feast
Travel south to the Waitomo Glowworm Caves and take a guided tour. Then continue to the geothermal region of Rotorua, where tonight you will enjoy a Maori Hangi feast and cultural performance at Mitai Maori Village.
Day 5. Rotorua, Freedom of Choice Touring
Today you choose the activity and we will include it. Perhaps soak in a natural thermal mineral pool or join an eco-thermal tour.

Day 6. Rotorua, Taupo, Wellington
Today visit Wairakei Steam Valley, a unique geothermal power project. See spectacular Huka Falls and Lake Taupo. Continue to Wellington.
Day 7. Wellington, Nelson, Dine Around Dinner
Today the Interislander cruise takes you across the breathtaking Marlborough Sounds to the South Island. Tonight choose from two fine restaurants within your hotel.
Day 8. Nelson, Franz Josef, West Coast Specialities Dinner
Follow the Heritage Highway to the rugged West Coast and Franz Josef, where you can view the glaciers. Tonight, enjoy a West Coast Specialities Dinner.
Day 9. Franz Josef, Wanaka
View incredible scenery today as you travel through Haast Pass and over the Southern Alps. Continue to Wanaka for an overnight stay in this place of tranquillity.
Day 10. Wanaka, Queenstown, Dine Around Dinner
Depart Wanaka and journey to Arrowtown. Continue to Queenstown and tonight enjoy a Dine Around Dinner, offering a choice of 15 local restaurants.

Day 12. Milford Sound, Te Anau
Travel through Fiordland National Park, where lush rainforest meets snow-capped mountains. On arrival at Milford Sound, cruise the full length of this beautiful fiord. This afternoon, enjoy a drive to the lakeside settlement of Te Anau.
Day 13. Te Anau, Dunedin, Freedom of Choice Touring
Journey to Dunedin where this afternoon, you'll join the Freedom of Choice touring activity that most interests you. Choose from a visit to Larnach Castle; a ride on the Taieri Gorge Railway; a guided tour of Olveston House; or a day trip to the Otago Peninsula, where you can drive along the peninsula, visit the albatross colony or see local penguins up close.
Day 14. Dunedin, Mt Cook, Freedom of Choice Touring, Dine Around Dinner
Travel to the unique Moeraki Boulders on Koekohe Beach. Stop at Oamaru, known for its distinctive limestone buildings, en route to World Heritage-listed Mt Cook National Park. Here, join your selected touring activity. Tonight, choose from one of two restaurants.
Day 15. Mt Cook, Christchurch, Dine Around Dinner
Visit Lake Tekapo and the Church of the Good Shepherd. On the way to Christchurch, you may take the TranzAlpine train, arriving around 6 pm, or continue with the coach, arriving around 3 pm. Tonight enjoy a Dine Around Dinner in Christchurch.
Day 16. Christchurch, Wellington
View spectacular seascapes as you travel north to Kaikoura, a renowned whale watching town. At Picton, board the Interislander and cruise across Cook Strait to the North Island.
Day 17. Wellington, Taupo
Cross the Rimutaka Ranges to the coastal township of Napier, where there is time to explore. Continue to Taupo.
Day 18. Taupo, Depart Auckland
Visit Wai-O-Tapu Thermal Wonderland, a geothermal area, and Kiwifruit Country for a guided tour. Cross the Hauraki Plains and return to Auckland where your tour concludes.
