Day 1. Arrive Christchurch

On arrival be met and transferred to your hotel.

Day 2. Christchurch, Mt Cook, Lake Ohau

Visit Lake Tekapo and view the Church of the Good Shepherd. Continue to World Heritage-listed Mt Cook National Park and Lake Ohau. Tonight enjoy a special High Country dinner.

Day 3. Lake Ohau, Dunedin

Today travel to Oamaru and view the Moeraki Boulders. Later arrive in Dunedin and join a sightseeing tour. Tonight, enjoy a Scottish dinner.

Day 4. Dunedin

Enjoy a day at lesiure in Dunedin.

Day 5. Dunedin, Te Anau

Tour historical Larnach Castle, New Zealand's only castle. Travel to the lakeside town of Te Anau, gateway to Fiordland National Park.

Day 6. Te Anau, Milford Sound, Queenstown

Travel Milford Road, through the Eglinton and Hollyford valleys, and the Homer Tunnel. Cruise Milford Sound. Later travel to Queenstown.

Day 7. Queenstown, Day at Leisure

Choose from a range of optional activities today (own expense). Tonight, cruise to Walter Peak High Country Farm for a carvery dinner.

Day 8. Queenstown, Milford Sound

Today board the Milford Mariner and cruise the full length of this fiord with an on-board Nature Guide. After reaching the open sea, return and anchor for the night in sheltered Harrison's Cove.

Day 9. Haast, Greymouth

Travel to World Heritage Westland National Park. Visit Hokitika and see pounamu being carved.

Day 10. TranzAlpine Train, Christchurch

See Punakaiki's Pancake Rocks then ride the TranzAlpine over the alps to Christchurch.

Day 11. Depart Christchurch

Your tour concludes with a transfer to the airport.
