Day 1. Christchurch

Be met on arrival in Christchurch and transferred to your hotel. The rest of the day is at your leisure to relax at the hotel or begin exploring the city.

Day 2. TranzAlpine Train, Franz Josef

Board the TranzAlpine train and take in stunning scenery as you travel on one of the worlds great train journeys across the Southern Alps. Disembark at Arthurs Pass and continue to Hokitika and see the dramatic west coast glaciers.

Day 3. Franz Josef, Haast, Queenstown, Dine Around Dinner

This morning after breakfast travel along the Haast River, with views of the lovely Haast River Valley. Continue to Queenstown and tonight choose from four carefully selected restaurants in which to dine in this evening.

Day 4. Queenstown, Freedom of Choice Touring

Today join your selected Freedom of Choice Touring activity. Options include a garden tour, a Double Decker Bus tour and many more.

Day 5. Milford Sound, Te Anau

Follow the Remarkables mountain range to Fiordland National Park. Board your cruise and explore the full length of beautiful Milford Sound, a highlight of any holiday to New Zealand. Later journey to Te Anau.

Day 6. Te Anau, Dunedin, Freedom of Choice Touring

Leaving the dramatic landscape of the Fiordland region, journey through rolling countryside to the city of Dunedin, which has a strong Scottish heritage. This afternoon you choose an activity and we will include it.

Day 7. Dunedin, Mt Cook, Freedom of Choice Touring

Tavel to Mt Cook National Park and view New Zealand's highest peak. Here, join your Freedom of Choice Touring activity. Perhaps you may like to take a guided walk, visit the Sir Edmund Hillary Alpine Centre or go stargazing with an astronomy guide.

Day 8. Mt Cook, Christchurch

Visit the tiny Church of the Good Shepherd before leaving the High Country. Cross the Rakaia River and Canterbury plains to Christchurch.

Day 9. Depart Christchurch, Freedom of Choice Touring

Today you choose the activity and we will include it. After your Freedom of Choice Touring board your included transfer to the airport.
